A black and tan dog stands on dry leaf-covered ground, tail up, looking toward the viewer
Close portrait of a tan dog with upright ears, mouth open and tongue out, against a blurred wall.
A tan dog looks almost straight ahead, ears up, tongue hanging out in a lopsided grin. The collar sits snug around a thick neck of fur. Behind, a wall blurs into soft bands of brown and cream. The eyes are half closed, relaxed, as if the evening warmth has made everything easy. This is a dog that has decided the visitor is acceptable.
A small white cherub statue with wings blowing a trumpet, against a blurred garden background.Close view of the tail light and HR-V badge on a silver car, a blurred grey shape in the foreground.A blue Imarflex desk fan with a round grille in front of a pale wall and window frame.A red satellite dish with a white true logo and a black receiver arm, a dark leaf at the right edge. The dark silhouette of a pine tree top against a flat grey-lavender sky.A grey tabby cat lies on a rusty platform under a metal staircase, framed by blurred orange railings
A thin crescent moon low in a dusky blue sky
By twenty to seven the trees are gone and the lens points up. A thin crescent hangs in a plain blue-grey sky, bright on its lower edge, the rest of the disc invisible. There is nothing else in the frame, no branches, no wires, no birds. After an evening of rust and dogs and gas cylinders, the day ends on one clean curve of light, like a station sign-off.
